About 33% of surveyed hospital leaders said their institution plans to continue with its current business intelligence system for the next three years, according to a report by research firm KLAS.

Thirty-three percent of respondents said their institution plans to buy a new BI system and 19% said their institution plans to replace its current BI system in the next three years. Fourteen percent of respondents said that their institution has no plans related to business intelligence systems for the next three years and 1% said they were not sure of their institution's plans.

The report is based on online and telephone surveys conducted between January and March among 147 executives and leaders at health care provider organizations.
