About 33% of surveyed hospital leaders said their institution
plans to continue with its current business intelligence system for
the next three years, according to a report by research firm
KLAS.
Thirty-three percent of respondents said their institution plans
to buy a new BI system and 19% said their institution plans to
replace its current BI system in the next three years. Fourteen
percent of respondents said that their institution has no plans
related to business intelligence systems for the next three years
and 1% said they were not sure of their institution's plans.
The report is based on online and telephone surveys conducted
between January and March among 147 executives and leaders at
health care provider organizations.
